What part of that rack looks like a blacktail?

Wyoming still has metal tags. Do you know if it says its a washington state tag?

Looks like a non-typical mule deer to me. Unsure of the metal deer tags though I'm sure someone here will be able to fill you in on that one.

What about these appears to be blacktail?

We have some metal OR tags from the late 30's that my great grandfather shot, although they were plates. Pretty neat.

And killer horns man. Beast for sure.

Maybe the general size of the rack?  Only appears to be about 12" wide.

I should add, that's not a nock on the rack, but more for support as a blacktail, which would make it a truly exceptional specimen.

Thats not a normal size piece of paper, is it? To be honest I didn't even notice it before. If it is then you're right, that would be a compact little muley. Looks quite a bit bigger than the magazines though.

The tag has the number 53 or 58 before the letters Wn GameD Deer and a tag number after that. A co-worker brought it in and gave me permission to post pics and to see if anybody knew anything about the tag or what the deer might be. Spread is closer to 18".

Regular paper. I used it to make the pics brighter but I guess it's a reference too. I was told it was scored. Method and anything else about the process is unknown but he said it was 205 or 206. It has 3 tips broke off from before the kill shot. Don't know anything about it beyond that.
