going to start bow hunting

One of the bows I highly recommend shooting is the Hoyt Charger. It is around $600 and many people are choosing it over the Hoyt Spyders because they cant really feel a $300 difference. It is by far the best quality bow in that price range, and will be your best bet if you feel comfortable with it. And yes, tru ball makes some of the best releases on the market.

I would say to not have any thoughts of what bow you want till you try them out. A bow is like a pair of shoes they all fit everyone different. When I bought my last bow I had my mind made up I wanted a PSE bow madness. I got to the shop and tried about 5-6 different bows. Turns out I didn't like the PSE at all, and ended up with a Bear. That wasn't even close to being on my list. And releases are the same. I tries 4 different ones before I found the one I really like. But you don't have to spend a lot. My $350 Bear bow shoots just as good as my buddies $800 G5.

Give lucky shot in chehalis a visit.  They have alot of quality bows and knowledge and will help you with everything including trying the bows!  You wont regret it.  Bow hunting is great, youll love it.

I think its a love hate thing. I really love it, but can get very, very frustrated. But in the end I wouldnt hunt any other way.

  So true, see more animals that ya cant get!  Or a miss!!!   Frustrating!  I enjoy the hunt and everything with it more then killing an animal so Im lucky.  So much about archery is more fulfilling and rewarding.
