Gotcha, thought it was some sort of other magic I could do on my bow  :chuckle: I think ive done every little thing to squeak out speed on my set up while still remaining accurate  :chuckle:

I don't always shoot big mule deer, but when I do, it's with a bow tech!

Picked up a Bowtech Insanity CPXL about two months ago, and love it.  Maybe it's still the honeymoon stage, but I'm happy with it.

I'm not sure if you'd really gain anything by switching from your Maxxis 31 to anything. You're already shooting a relatively fast bow. Also, I don't go by advertized speeds as they seem to be very over rated. Since we have to shoot 6gr per lb of draw weight, I go by what my Pro Chrono tells me with a hunting weight arrow since that's what really matters.

 :yeah:
Your 323 hoyt is as fast or faster than most 332 rated bows on the market. I would save the $800 and get the best acc. on the market. You will end up spending less and will have an awesome hunting setup.  :twocents:
