The goose mount turned out good.  Filling the game room up nicely.
Cut em!

Is that a wolf hide?

Nope, just a rather large yote hide.  Watched him get hit by a train, picked him up no holes, cuts, scratches.  So I skinned and tanned him.  Biggest yote I've seen to date, in the South and out here in Wa.

I dig the turkey wings mounted with the tail like that. Did you do that yourself? I have done many fans with beard mounts myself just wondering how to preserve the wings so they do not rot?

Yep, did them myself.  Do the same as the fan.  My process....
Cut them along the bone off of the body.
Clean any and all fat off that you can as possible.
Fill sink with hot water and dawn soap.
place wing in water and mix around, wash, rub whatever you want to call it for 15 minutes.
Pull out and run outside really fast keeping the drips to a minimum all over the house from the sink to door.
shake outside and open up.
Use hair dryer to dry and mend feathers back together.
Pin on cardboard however you want them and coat in borax for weeks.

Or, the other method.....
Cut each feather out of the skin and lay in place in the same pattern you pull them off. Once arranged how you like them, run hot glue over the ends.  This way is more work up front and no real waiting time, but much harder on the wings than the other way.

Both ways work great and I have not had any issues so far.

Leon has done all my work and I have no desire to go anywhere else.  I am leased in all aspects of his work and business.
Here is the Can.  Gave him the picture below and asked him to do something similar to the bird in the background and this is what he did.
