I'm not a fawn expert.  I didn't know that they would actually grow antlers the first year other than maybe "buttons".  So you are saying this is a .5 yr od deer?

I can’t prove it but I think it’s the same deer that I’ve been seeing since Aug.  First spots and no antlers, then a few spots and spikes, now what you see there.  I could be wrong but that’s my best guess.

some do put antlers out there first year or half year i guess, looks like he'll be an interesting one to watch grow up

Kind of looks like one of those "bucks" that guys shoot and when they gut it they find out it isn't a "buck", if you know what I mean.
