Gun rights supporters turn out in force in Olympia
« on: February 09, 2013, 06:03:37 PM »
I don't recall seeing any notification about this rally (Friday, Feb 8, 2013):

Gun rights supporters turn out in force in Olympia

http://www.seattlepi.com/news/article/Gun-rights-supporters-rally-in-Olympia-4262679.php

I noted the last two statements in the article:

"Supporters of new gun restrictions have long pushed to background checks to cover all sales, including deals between private parties.

Ralph Fascitelli, president of Washington Ceasefire, said he was encouraged by support of the idea in the Legislature this year, including that of Republican Rep. Mike Hope, a police officer."

wish in this case I was closer to Olympia.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

I don't think very many showed up. There were notifications to local agencies and businesses about but nothing mentioned in the paper.

If you know who organized the rally, tell them ot get the information in this forum next time.  Many of us would have attended and sent the notiication out to many others.

No, the notification was from the state making people aware that there may be firearms around the campus.

The Olympian had a pic with 4 guys. I did not get a chance to read the article.

I saw that.  No worries though.

I haven't looked for hot items in the top right corner before.  I know to look there now.

Thanks.
