MOOSE PERMIT HOLDERS
« on: September 24, 2008, 07:20:24 PM »
Who all is going to be looky looing for a moose next Wednesday? I have heard some of you can't, due to work or otherwise, hunt the first day.
I am leaving with the wife for moose camp early Monday morning, we will be camping near Fruitland just south of Hunters.
Does anyone know how the cell coverage is in that area? I have Verizon service which is generally pretty good.
If any of you other Huckleberry tag holders are in that area and want to shoot the breeze or you need a hand with some packing call me, 253-307-6570, otherwise to identify me I will be driving my white '96 F-250, its a cab plus with a WDFW muley license plate. I will have my Rubicon with a winch, and also a game cart, not to mention pack frames :bdid:
Everyone out there hunt smart, hunt safe and have the time of your life!!!!! :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

Ill be in Three Forks first thing Wednesday morning through Sunday then it will be weekends only for a while after that because of work.  I also will be there this weekend doing a last bit of scouting.

Finnman - there is a Verizon tower northeast of Hunters on top of Stranger next to the lookout but reception down in the valleys on the Hunters side of the mountains can be spotty at best sometimes.  Good luck, there are a lot of nice bulls in that area

Finnman, I will be camped near deer creek off of the red marble mnt road and we have cell service there. 509-899-4940. I wish your wife luck and you too. I was in that area last weekend and we saw several cows before the rains and fog came. we have our laptops so we will monitor this site for the details. I think we aree headed over tuesday night and hunting for my buddy's cow over mt. spokane first so I won't get afte the bulls till thur or friday.
