Have you hugged your taxidermist today?
« on: February 12, 2013, 09:51:23 AM »
After reading a thread I'm not going to mention and that we should not resurrect in any way I sent a message to my taxidermist asking for an update on the bull in my avatar since I know my cape is experiencing the recent tannery snafu.  I got a phone call the same day with details that are making me sleep well at night.  Thanks Band's taxidermist. :)

Well I better give a shout out to my guy in the banner at the top of page from Cedar River, hey Rick  :hello:, thanks for everything over the years, you're the best.  Hope all is well with the family.

Today is the anniversary (monthly) of when my taxi took my cape and horns away from me, upon my request of course :chuckle: I have been kept up to date on the progress of my hide/form/horns/etc. I do understand now that having a crappy tannery can really affect business and I do feel for taxidermists that have been put behind by something that is no fault of their own!! My wife has long since authorized the one spot in our house (living room) that will serve as the home to my elkski for years to come and I get anxious if I look at that spot for too long but I know that in the grand scheme of life some things are worth the wait!!
Thanks Charlie!!

Carefull what you wish for, it gets expensive even with a quantity discount.  Dad always said "Fun costs money, how much fun do you want to have?"  You can cross that bridge when you get there, just knock one down and worry about how to pay the bill later.
