I bought the hoyt spyder 34 instead of the turbo as well, I like a bigger brace height as well. Still waiting for it to arrive it has been 5 weeks, seems as if hoyt is slow on getting there bows to market... Congrats on the new bow.

You mean like the one below???  It's an awesome bow.  I will say the 6" brace is keeping me honest.  It's a tack driver if my form is on.  If not, it's clear that I'm getting lazy with my shot execution.  This one has side plates on it.  Since this pic was taken I've removed them and shooting bare riser now, which I like the best (of the three --- full grip, side plates, or bare riser).  Also, I've added three 1oz. weights on the end of the 8.5" carbon blade to get the balance I want.

That's a really sweet set-up. I'm jealous.

Yeah, I'm very, very happy with it.  BTW pianoman9701, I just got some of that Scorpion Venom bowstring wax you recommended on another thread awhile back.  That stuff is the bomb!  I'll never go back to the usual Bohning stick stuff.

Yeah, wait until you try the roll-on. Holy carp! Great stuff and I'm glad you're happy with it.

Mtbiker and I must have the same tastes in good bows.  Here's a picture of my vector turdo all blacked out with side plates as well.

haha, I was gonna get the same bow you have D-Rock, but I was shopping last November and was told that I couldn't get the VT in a half-and-half/65 lbs.  Oh well, I'm very happy with the Spyder Turbo.  Hey maybe we can sync-up at a shoot and let the "kids" play together.  Kinda like a play date.   :chuckle:

Sounds good.  Who said you couldn't get the vector turbo half and half?

Bill at the Nock Point.  At that point they were in Spyder production mode and not making or dealing with any custom order VT's (so I was told).  I could have went with a standard camo pattern and 70 lbs limbs that they had in stock, but I was set on a half-and-half @ 65 lbs.
