East side late Any Elk Season

This looks like a liberal season but are there really any elk in these units?


Oct. 25‑Nov. 15
203-248, 250, 254-290, 373, 379, 381 except closed within 1/2 mile
of the Columbia River in Douglas and Grant counties**
 

Nov. 20‑Dec. 8
130-142*

Cover the land in some of those units.  Could work for you.

Just to help you out by saving you some time; There are probably no elk in 247,250,245,246 and some of the others around Wenatchee.

WDFW does not want any elk in some of those units.  That's the reason for the any elk regulations.

I checked the harvest reports and only Cheney and Ritzville have had more than 10 elk taken in a year.  Most of these units have zero or only a few taken.
