I'll seeya all there on Saturday the 20th... let me know what else I can bring besides two crab pots... chips?  potato salad?  RockStar Energy Drinks?

I would love to see if we can catch some flounder and SRC!!!  I have never caught a sea run variety of a cutthroat before.

Thanks to everyone,

Jg

OK I just read back through the thread and I have 16 confirmed members plus family/friends. I only see 5 boats unless I'm missing something. Hear is what I have.

Ripper and Rippette- Boat, pots, utensils, cooker
H20 and family- Boat, pots, cooker
Buckmark- boat
Whackmaster-Boat, pots, cooker
PJB3- Boat
DRock-Rings, strong back
Smossy- Strong Back, Pots, crab cooker, appetite
Smossysgirl- A great smile
Kola- a spear
92XJ- Boat
Skillet- Boat, pots, cooker
Fish stiq-
Whitepirate-
HRD2FND-
Bowsandhose-
Tharius-
Elk247-
Carl
FC- pots and cooker

I'm going to read through again to fill in some blanks.

Not confirmed.... I was just asking questions to see if it was doable for me.
It WAS doable, now lack of funds, I believe is going to prevent me from making the trip.   >:(

Two tanks of gas in the truck for the 600 mile round trip. Fuel for the boat.  Food money. daily cost on an out of town trip with road traveling involved, etc.  Need to build the play funs back up, then will be able to make an event, or better yet, host one on this side of the state.

Hey 92xj,

Set one up on your side sometime. It would be great to meet some guys "over there".

And we can make Carolina BBQ!

But, that's for another thread...

I'm thinking about taking Friday July 19 off from work to fish for Kings. Would anybody else like to have a friendly derby that day? Biggest fish/ most fish? Let me know.

Looks like my boat will be full already. Any other boat owners want to meet up and have a friendly competition?

We should get a Hunt-WA team registered and then pick 10 lunkers.  With the pot/people ratio we'd be a force to be reckoned with.

Those stinking derby rats had better stay out of Port Susan! We want our crabs to ourselves!

That's why I posted it.  There could be more boats than normal in your area if this derby is popular enough.  Possible zoo...   :dunno:

I'm sure it will be a zoo. Too late to change it now. Every weekend during crab/salmon season is a zoo though. Just get out early and bring a bucket of patience with you.
