I figured as much.  It's been getting used, I might have to "forget" to bring them back.   :chuckle:

I want to contribute to the crab count, but do not have a trap.

That leaves me with 2 options:
1 – buy one.  Please throw out some recommendations on where to buy one. I guess I need a buoy too.
2 – borrow one.

I'll bring some dogs and buns too.

Thanks - can't wait.

Carl....probably going to be enough pots to go around. I'll have a couple with me.....bring a license and I'm sure you can find a boat ride to pull a pot or two. Shoot...I'll let you pull all the pots you want!

Don't buy any pots unless you plan on using them again. For this event there will be plenty. I have 4 myself so anyone with a license can go out with me and get your limit.

Again I want to put the word out for people to bring some chicken or turkey for crab bait.

I know that the IGA on Camano island sells 30# of turkey legs for 38.99.  That's where I buy my bait. :twocents:

I've also added clams to my bait sometimes.

Right now Safeway carries bulk chicken.....10# of leg/thigh quarters for about $7.50 plus tax. That is pretty solid for bulk bait.

that's a good buy also.  salmon bellies are great along with flounder.

but turkey legs are a proven winner for me each time out
