Excited is an understatement.  Ill be hunting up in Huckleberry opening weekend. Then a few spots here around Mt spokane during the week. What I really cant wait for is the late season south of here. Thats why I took the entire sesaon off. What do you shoot?

Yea, I'm getting pretty pumped! Muzzle elk opens in eight days!! Me and elkaholic123 will be setting up camp in six days. We get to go a few days early due to a little labor dispute at an airplane factory. :chuckle: Sucks hunting for spikes only- but at least we will be hunting. Good luck to all, hope we get some good (bad) weather!

Can't wait for it to open.  Bob and i will be leaving for Colville at 4am on Thursday.  We have the entire season, and will be the only hunters on the ranch.  Have deer and elk tags so hope to kill all 4 animals.   One side of road is any elk and the other is any bull.  There are about 2000 resident whiteys on the place so deer should be easy.  Elk a little harder.  Will post pics upon return.

My partner and I are very excited for our trip.  Last year was our first hunting the BP season.  He scored a small buck, and I had a shot at a bear but missed.  We saw several moose and had a great camping trip.  This year we've converted two of our duck and elk hunting buddies to BP for deer and will be joining us.  Can't wait.  I've done about 200 rounds for practice this year to help make good on a shot opportunity this season.  I'm ready.

I'll miss the early season due to Army training :'(. And my first child is due right before the late season, So I don't see myself getting to many days to hunt Muzzy, this year. The wife may let me sneak out for a few hours here and there. I hope.

Dude, tell me about it!

I get to spend three weeks in Ft Lewis starting Oct 13 and going to the 31st.  Those dates sound familiar, huh?  Oh yeah, thats the entire modern rifle season!   :bash:

I go muzzy hunting anyways, but my wife was excited for her rifle season, until Uncle Sam said otherwise.
