Proposed Wa. gun law allows annual house searches
« on: February 17, 2013, 02:25:51 PM »
In today's Seattle Times page B1, there's a really interesting article about the proposed new Washington gun law that includes this language:

"In order to continue to possess an assault weapon that was legally possessed on the effective date of this section, the person possessing shall.... safely and securely store the assault weapon.  The sheriff of the county may, no more than once per year, conduct an inspection to ensure compliance with this subsection."

But don't worry, the legislator's sponsoring the bill say they didn't know that language was in there.

Rest well knowing that nobody wants to infringe on your 2A right....

Search and seizure?   Nah.   I'm sure they just want to take a look around....    :bash: :bash: :bash:

Due process......  Well, I guess this would be the new process....      :yike: :yike: :yike: :yike:

Yeah, like Pelosi said about Obamacare:  "We have to pass it to see what's in it!"
And these are the people we elect to represent us???
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

Let's not panic, people.

I'm confident that they have our best interests at heart, and know better than we do what is good for us.
