Whisker Biscuit Problem?

We just put a new Trophy Ridge whisker biscuit on my son's Diamond Razor Edge.  He went and shot with it today.  Now many of the bristles look bent.  See pic.  Any thoughts on what the problems are?  I'm guessing this isn't right.  Thanks for any thoughts.

The arrows are Beeman ICS Hunter 4-fletch, 28 inches.  100 gr field points.

And, the fletchings must be helix as they look to have twist.  He is pulling around 50-54 lbs.

Who put rest on?

The rest was put on by a Seattle area archery shop.  What do you think?  Was it put on incorrectly or not adjusted properly?  Or is it the wrong rest for the bow?  I am sure some will say to get a drop away but my question is really about what is going on with the WB.  Thanks.

You need to make sure you turn the nock in the arrow so that the fletching is passing threw the brown whiskers and not the fine black whiskers on the bottom. They bend like that if your fletching is going threw the fine whiskers. So just spin the nock so that your 4 fletch looks like a x when nocked. Do that to all the arrows and that should fix the problem.

Thanks.  Here are a couple pictures.  It looks like there is almost no clearance between the fletching and the string.  With the helical fletch could the arrow be spinning after it leaves the knock and before it hits the WB and/or string?  Maybe shorter blazers?

It almost looks like in that 4Th pic you got a whisker biscuit designed for aluminum shaft arrows.

Also those fletchings look really thick and squared off, could be it there

Ive been shooting the same biscuit since 2010 and it looks like that. Doesnt seem to affect my accuracy out to 70 yards.

I used to shoot a biscuit.  I just worked on trying to get my fletchings to always pass through the same spots, figuring those bristles would eventually be looser and affect the arrow flight less.  Every few shots would push the bristles forward and back to straighten them out a little.  Your bristles look like they are almost woven, like the vanes are passing through at slightly different spots each time.  Would rotate nocks so vanes always go through about same spot.  Try pulling bowstring back slightly and let go (just enough to get the nock to pop off the string).  You'll eventually find a tension that results in your arrows vanes stopping within the biscuit.  Then make your adjustments.  Agree that the diameter on the biscuit may be designed for a larger diameter arrow.  I used microdiameter carbons so mine fit lose in the carbon arrow biscuit, but didn't really matter a whole lot to consistency.

I have seen that some people cut the bristles off where the vanes pass through.

Too big of whole in the biscuit and the helical isnt helping. Is it tuned properly?? Nock height will have an adverse effect also. Cant tell from the pic's..

If the guy at the archery store took it off the wall, opened the package, then installed the rest, do youthink they should take it back and install the correct one?  I have a feeling they are going to wonder why I am complaining about this rest.

Looks like the fletchings are to tall. Are they hitting the outside of the whiskers, might want to try some shorter fletching. It has been awhile since I have looked at biscuits, are there 2 sizes.
