Model 12 LRP @ 1000 yards

This was my first ever shots taken at 1000 yards. Its not the best group and i only hit 11 out of 15 but it was fun. My 14 month old is in pic for an idea of the scale.

oh i forgot. I'm shooting 140gr Berger VLD's out of a 6.5 creedmoor topped with Vortex Viper PST 6-24X50 second focal plane.

Nice job. I like the target too.

I just took a guy out on Sunday to shoot at 400 yards for the first time. He was happy to be hitting the 10" gong at 400. I've never had a chance to get past 750. It's too hard to find a place to shoot that far around here.

It is light on recoil and super accurate. Great BC's for bullets also. We are setting up a 1 mile range on the family farm. We had 14 lifesize animals cut and 7 gongs. The animals include rabbits, coyotes wolves, elk, moose, grizzly, cougar, pheasant, geese and ducks.

well, if it wasnt a private place Id have some shoot outs, Im pretty sure we could get to 13-1500 if we really wanted to

you guys could come to the long range shoots i put on, snowshoe22 has attended one and liked it. I have ideas for two shoots so far for this spring, just haven't picked a date yet for them. you can go to my website at www.sportsmanschallenge.weebly.com and check out the past shoots, pictures, prizes ect.  I got these going for guys to get more trigger time and get more proficient in their abilities before they go out and shoot at an animal or just to gain a fun way to compete and strive to shoot better.
