Has anyone been to walmart lately ?

My brother in law in Cali just sent me this from down there ....I do not go to Walmart much So if you go let me know what you come up with ....

I go there.  I was just in one a little over an hour ago and they have a good selection of rifle ammo (30-06, 270, 300, 243) and lots of shotgun shells.  But .223/7.62 and almost all the handgun ammo is gone.  They limit to three boxes when they do get ammo in.
The only pistol ammo I've been seeing is .40 and .45, but it is the expensive stuff with nickel casing.

The shortage of ammo isn't just a WalMart, or California phenomenon--it's everywhere.  I was at the local WalMart a few days ago, and walking past the gun counter, I noticed that their racks were full of guns of all kinds.  Didn't check out what they had for ammo--I don't need any.

I've seen all calibers being sold out. even regular ammo like 30/30 30/40 ammo is sold out.
People are gearing up and being prepared for ammo ctrl.

I went this morning and they didn't have any pistol ammo of any sorts.  Lots of centerfire rifle cartridges.  No 5.56 / 223 or 7.62 x 39 to be had.  I brick of CCI .22 shorts at $10 per box.  Big time shortage everywhere right now.
