Did it come with a manual?
It's going to come down to the choke that you have in the gun.

As mentioned, you can shoot anything through it with a smooth bore.  Only restrictions are the chokes used.  X-Full you may want to consider what you shoot through it.  Usually ment for #4-#6 heavy turkey loads.  Mod and IC are typically the chokes you want for buck shot and slugs.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

What restriction is it?
They're all RemChokes...which choke is it? Take it out...unscrew it and it will say on the side of it.

Are you looking for this info for shooting turkeys?
You're going to have to shoot it and check the pattern. 1st things first, unscrew it and read what it says on the side of the choke tube.

From what you wrote it seems you have a extra full choke. h2ofowlr has some good advice as well as Ridgeratt. Do some research and make a decision.

Remington has a Customer Service number listed in the manual (or you can get it off the web). I have contacted them in the past and have had success in dealing with them... the 2 times I called the person I interacted with was knowledgable and helpful. You may want to call and ask them what Rem advises... that way you have it straight from the "horses mouth" so to speak.

It's an extended extra full choke.
I would not shoot slugs through it.
