Homemade Call Lanyard?
« on: March 14, 2013, 07:30:32 PM »
Any awesome ideas for a homemade call lanyard? I figured the waterfowlers would know. I was thinking I might try 300# mono that I can crimp.

Yeah youtube has some good 550 paracord multicall lanyards. Theyre not too terribly hard once you get the threading combination down. I make quick release bracelets/belts out of the same weave style.
One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.

I made one and have plenty of step by step pictures.  For some reason I can not post them over here in dubai :bash: :bash:  If you shoot me a PM with your email I can email them from my work address

550 paracord is what we use, strong, but be ready for some blisters especially if you do a really tight weave.
Boom boom boom...

:yeah: I did 50 weaves a day to avoid it.  I learned on the first one not to do the whole thing at once.

I make mine out of the parchute cord.  It works great.  I have made several of them this way.
Cut em!

I made it with paracord and just weave an extra piece where the calls go.
