So I pulked the trigger on a piston ar. I sold my olympic k16 to fund my newest toy. So far ive addedmy timney trigger and thrown on my dads nikon red dot to go play with since my rings arnt tall enough to clear the scope :bash: im going to try and sight it in tomorrow and call a yote or hit some ground hogs just to get its first kill done :tup:

Im hopping it will shoot as good as my olympic did. If it doesnt I think it may move on cause I like being able to shoot 500+ yds. I do like the weight loss and the feel of it so far, but time and a a good scope will tell.

its hard as a military guy for me to not buy an ar that is not what it was when I was in the corp, but it is nice to have a scope.

So it seems to be a shooter. With the red dot sight on it I managed 5 shots in a 1.5" group at 102yards. It didnt have a single feed problem or ejection problem and ran like a champ :tup:
