There are so many attacks on our 2nd Amendment rights that SJM8006 almost slipped through the cracks.  We might be able to help push this one through.

Please write the Senate Rules Committee asking them to support SJM8006 – Promoting the use of the Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program in preschools, early learning programs, and schools.

I have provided a fast and easy copy and paste message for you to use, or you can compose your own.  The important action is that you write.  Please urge your family, friends, and colleagues to do the same.

Support SJM8006 – Promoting the Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program

Copy and paste message:

Dear Senate Rules Committee:

I am writing today to respectfully ask that you give your full support to SJM8006 – Promoting the use of the Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program in preschools, early learning programs, and schools.  Of all the gun related bills that have recently flooded our legislative assemblies, this is the only one that appears to truly address the safety of our children.  I would expect 100% support for this bill.

It is a shame that most, if not all, of the other gun related bills that have been introduced during this session are nothing more than outright attacks on guns and law-abiding gun owners which do nothing to curb violence or prevent criminals from carrying out their malevolent deeds.  Imposing a barrage of useless gun-control regulations and laws onto law-abiding citizens will do nothing but whittle away at our liberty, rights, and freedoms we have fought so hard to obtain and keep for over 236 years.

Please take a positive step and support SJM8006.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

[Your contact information]

"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

If you haven't written an email to support this Bill, please consider writing the Senate Rules Committee.  This is actually a good Bill.  The first post in the thread gives you a very fast and easy way to have your voice heard.
