Real curious about these heads wondering if any 1 has killed any animals with them and how the performed

They make a barbed and non-barbed version. Never used them bugbear they are pretty good.

Their non-barbed version is still illegal by Washington definitions.  Whether you would be ticketed or not I expect depends on how much the gamie wanted to knitpick.  But technically it does not have a completely closed...smooth unbroken edge as clearly stated in the WDFW equipment rules.  I believe it is a reasonable good head, but I would not risk it.

I do know some guys on the east coast that have taken a few whitetail with them.  The reports I got is they were a little noisy, but none of the dead deer seemed to mind.  The best test of any broadhead in my mind is how many animals you watch go down in sight.  From those guys on small whitetail it sounds as though they are better than average.

Wac'em broadheads have the same similar cut back on them it's not nearly as much as the QAD head.  There was a letter from wdfw stating that the wac'ems fit Washingtons definition of a legal broadhead.

If true ther might be hope!  But dang if that gap isn't big when attached to a carbon arrow.

There has been an issue with the steap blade angles and no long point skipping off animals on hard quartering shots.  Always a concern with super short ferrules and steap blades.

I have seen some massive damage caused by these heads just searching around on elk as well i think the full blade version would be fine in OR and WA

i don't think i'd want to get checked with those in my quiver.  quite a bit of space there that could EASILY be called a barb.  if you want to shoot G5, what's wrong with the striker?

Me either but i have only seen one game warden in my long 5 year hunting career. But still not worth the risk to me. Besides i have slick tricks
