I've jumped into the multi states points game this year; mainly for deer and elk. I still can't fathom the exotics: bison, bighorns, moose, etc.... Its not so much the 10-15 year wait, its paying $2,500 once you've done that much waiting. Now you're like $4,000 invested when you could have taken $6,000 to africa to kill 7 animals.  :dunno:

:yeah: Seriously. I don't know what it is but hunting Africa does not appeal to me at all. I think its the pictures I see of overweight dudes in shorts with an entourage of people helping them hunt. It makes it seem like you pay the money and get to go on a killing trip and not a hunting trip. I'll take a bighorn a a bison hunt anyday.

Africa is not my cup of tea either. About the only country I would ever wanna hunt other than at home is Canada. A sheep and a moose is at the top of my tags wanted list.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Is there still that herd over in Cheney? Around 200 head of Bison Bison. It was on the same place that had the huge pig at the Puyallup sportsman's show every year. I didnt see them this year.
