British columbia, Alberta black bear hunt.

I want to plan a hunt with a couple friends to Canada Black bear hunting.  Of course needs to be affordable and good odds.  Don't care if it's spot and stalk, or over bait.  Within driving distance would be great.
If anyone has any info that would be great.  Thanks.

Dave Fyfe is a great guy. He got Jim Shokey hooked on vanny island black bears. . Hope you enjoy your trip whoever you decide to go with.

I used Collins Guide Service a few years ago and was very happy with them.

In one week I counted 64 bears including blacks and grizzlies. I shot two bears and one wolf that made the record books up there. Darrel Collins was very cool to hunt with. He could have gotten me the bears the first day that I was there and just took my money. He slowed me down and had me be selective. It was good food, good company and fantastic area. I can pm his contact info to you if you want.

I live in the Puyallup area and drove there in one day. They took care of all of the paper work for license, tags and border crossing. There was no stress on my part for any of that.

If you just want to kill a bear I'd go to idaho and do it yourself, but if you're looking for a true chance at a giant bear check Blake out.
His places are not over hunted and they kill giants every year
