Rifle Basix Triggers
« on: September 28, 2007, 04:29:27 PM »
I decided to put one of their triggers on my Marlin .17HMR and I went to the range today to get it dialed in. After filling in the bullseye, I picked a random place on the target, shot once, and then aimed at the bullet hole to see how close I could get a 3 shot group. Not too bad...

...and of course the gun...

looks good man. My brother In-law bought the exact gun about two years ago and i helped him sight it in. I sighted it in on a quarter just like you have but the group is in the quarter. I had a picture of it for a while but no longer have it. LOL. that was a fun day. shot so many things that day. Fun little gun. rediculously accurate and no kick back. farely cheap more than 22 shells but less that big game ammo. i would recommend getting one of those for anyone that was trying to get there wife, kids or even friends to shot. Great beginner and Advanced level gun....very nice!! I like it...................................AJ

Thanks. It is definitely a lot more fun than shooting a .22. It is just something about it being a bolt action IMO. I forgot to mention that I shot that group at 50 yards. I didn't shoot it out to 100 cause I was short on time and needed to shoot my .300 while I was out there.
