Sweeeeet, pics should be in next Hunt-WA magazine issue  :chuckle:

Cracks me up that there is a current thread about working out, supplements, eating healthy and all that stuff. Then we have us beer chuggin, bbq eatin, keg throwin, rednecks. I know who has more fun!

Haha!

H20,  I've always done best using a discus throwing technique.  You will need to refine your release a bit.  That's the critical part.  Release at the wrong time and you have a keg flying through the windshield of a truck or something like that.

I understand....my problem is I've never done track and field. I got no "glory days" on the discus field to fall back on. Somebody wants to swim X number of yards I'm in. I once threw a shot put off a upper level onto a basketball floor. The PE coach was royally peeved! I'd like to take some test throws prior to my official toss. Then...maybe take the best of three throws. Now Goldeney....you are built like you could have had some glory days. I think you or somebody else will have to step in and give some honest to goodness don't throw your back out you drunk dummy tips.

Is that what they are calling it these days??? :o
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Glory Days is right.  Since those day I have had both shoulders dislocated at one time or another, have a torn rotater cuff on the right side, tendonitis in both elbows, and bulging discs in both back and neck.  There was a time I could do things like this well.  Not any more.  I'll be there to give it a whirl though.  The will is still there though the body may not back it up any more.  That's where some liquid medicine may help after competing...

I'll even try to help you H20...

Not even an issue. There is no way double J and I would let a full keg get tossed. Thats alcohol abuse. :bdid:

This is what you are looking for H20.  The challenge is in the mind, not in the muscle.  Visualize the toss and it will happen as planned...

sad thing is most kegs got tossed towards the truck so someone could go for a refill.
