Trophy Bonded Tip Bullet

Has anyone tried these bullets yet?
I'm thinking about trying Some of these for my .270. Since the Accubonds don't shoot so great in my rifle.

I have been trying to buy some of these bullets in 7mm mag but nobody has them.  Tryed to buy some at sportsmans yesterday all they had was 308.  Sure is a lot of advertisement for these but there not available anywhere yet, even kesselrings doesnt have them.  Im a fan of the TBBC bullets so hopefully these fly even better?

Personally, am a partition fan myself.  They just always perform.

I've heard they are a good bullet but I will stick to my accubounds/Noslers or a hornady that and they dont list a .338 cal yet

Nosler had a bad batch of Accubonds come out.  They act more like a Bilistic Tip unpon impact. Tips are falling off or coming loose on shells that have been loaded. We  send back what was left in the box of bullets and deceided just to stay with what always works. I went with the Partition. My pard went with some e-tips.   Partner had a 200 gr Accubond outa a 300wsm not penetrate or hold together well at all on a mulie buck this year.  So whatch out if you handload.  First sign will be tips trting to back out.

WOW the accubond I have had where great, I recovered one that had travled the length of a mule deers spine and still weighed 180gr I guess you get a bad one ever now and then.

Ya I think that the Accubond is a great bullet and it holds up very well on game. It just tends to string shots out of my rifle. I guess I need to Handload if I really want good accuracy. So when these bullets are gone I might try either the Trophy Bonded Tip or I might give those 110gr Barnes Tipped Triple Shock X bullet a try. I'm just wondering If they would work on elk . I think that they would because of the bullet constuction But I just don't like the thought of a 110gr bullet for elk.

The AB's are very accurate.  !80's outa the -06 has been stellar.   My buddies 300wsm with 200grainers shoulda went through.  You'd think.  Hell thats big bear and elk medicine.  Buck died.  They new they sent a bunch of bad ones out.  But no recall.

You would have though that they would have recalled them. I guess everyone has a % of faulty equipment they sell before they recall.

If anyone gets some TBT let me know how they work.

Is this based on the old Bear Claw bullet?  Not familiar with a tipped model but I know the old Bear Claws were darn good bullets.  You may want to try Swift Scirrocos, Hornady Interbonds, or Barnes TSX.

Yes this is based on the old bear claw. In fact that is basically what the bullet is execpt the TBT has a polymer tip, boatail base, and those rings that the Barnes Triple Shocks X's have on them. I guess they make it more accurate.

Interesting.... gonna have to check em out.  The tip and BT will improve the BC and the rings allow may allow you to shoot it faster.
