Best Muzzleloader?
« on: October 09, 2008, 08:39:16 PM »
I am looking to get into shooting a Muzzleloader and eventually hunting with one.  Which rifle do you guys prefer?  Looking for accuracy, longest range possible, and toughness (use in extreme conditions).

To be legal in Washington, I would start looking at the Knight Bighorn and TC Black Diamond. Nod goes to the Bighorn though.

I haven't looked at muzzleloaders in years but I'm very happy with my MK-85 predator.

Best??    Not sure there's a best.   Just alot of damn good one's.  I mush prefer the TC Firehawk in an inline and a Lyman Deerstalker SS/walnut in a side hammer!

sidelock are just funner u can reach out about the same as with an inline but i would go with something atleast a 28 inch brl and 1/38 twist because they shoot conicals the best also i would go with 50 caliber
