I know a couple of good spots to hang a trail cam if you end up with another. I may even go get one or two myself.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

Ripper....this year we are gonna sit on a few of those areas and really work the cub distress call. I will feel better with someone having my back when I call.

Can't wait to see the pics of the spring bear hunt! Best of luck when the time comes H20, been reading some older posts and you seem like a stand up guy.

If you don't have them yet, here is the map from the 2009 packet and a MyTopo of the area.  The bears should be in the same areas.

http://www.tgfoitwoods.com/images/MonroeBearMap.pdf

http://www.mytopo.com/review.cfm?mytopoid=4704222FEE

That map still looks pretty accurate from the scouting I have done in the last year even though its from 2009. Ran into a ton of sign 8 miles back but not accessable by vehicles. I haven't decided if I'm going to that area yet. Maybe try the roads first then after a few weeks take a few days and camp back in that area. Be a fun hunt forsure.

Mill creek sucks, I hate having to drive south of Marysville.   >:(

Just opened my "packet", two type written pages.  Anyone notice the cost of postage for this?  92 cents!  I could have mailed this same thing for 46 cents and saved money on a smaller envelope.  Good use of taxpayer $$.   :bash:  Also, why not save the additional postage and have the tag in there?   :bash: X2

And yeah, I know, it's not that much in total, but this is just typical.  Maybe I'm too cranky?  I need to go fish or something.  Guess I'll work in the garden.

More posts per page equals less pages equals faster server equals less forum crashing.

Well....I've been out and about in some of the area we can hunt. No sign yet that I've seen. One possible sighting on cam....the verdict is split between bear and lion. Talked with some loggers in one of the properties and they have not been seeing anything moving yet.
