Cool, we will have to plan a poker game/bachelor party some time before June 28.

What a nice evening to be out. Ripper is posted up watching a little draw and im on a stump watching a nice open grassy spot. Mr bear just needs to come walking out. We walked a narrow grassy strip that had lots of scat...day or so old. You could tell where the grass had been eaten. No fresh peels but that means we just didnt see them. Gonna sit till dark then head out.

No they didn't get the memo. It was a really nice evening though, didn't even need a jacket. They are starting to move around, eat and poop so it's just a matter of putting in time. Eventually H2O will cross paths with one.

In time....in time. I think we are just getting good in our area. I saw more scat and sign of activity on one walk yesterday than I've seen in all my outings so far.

Are you heading out tomorrow or did the baby drop? If you go, I'd be watching that clearing in front of where we parked the other day. Good luck.

I am. Heading out to the lake this evening to play with the trolling housing for the GoPro. Bro in law and I are heading out early. Going to walk the couple of spurs....you know the ones....first thing in the morning. Then I figure to post up on a couple of those clearings. Mid day head into town for lunch and may relocate and hunt/explore a bit more. I've got a few other side spurs I've seen but not walked. Momma says unless the baby is on the way and she is needed to be with her sister I've got the entire weekend to spend in the woods. I predict at least a couple of bears down this weekend. If not me hopefully a few guys will get into them.

Awesome! I will be fishing all weekend but if you get one down in the eve, gimme a call and I'll try to get away to help. Fingers are crossed.
