After poking it with the rifle a dozen times to make sure it is dead and give my heart a chance to calm down I begin to relax a bit. Texts get sent, brother in law hits the road to come help, and the work begins. The bullet went at the last rib, blew the liver to tiny bits and pulp, punched both lungs, and destroyed the far shoulder. D-Rock and I ran up to TNT and got it dropped off. 103 lbs hanging weight....I'm thinking around 200 lbs on the paw, maybe just a touch more. Big ol round head, nice boar, nice spring bear.
Nice hunting shirt... Killer :chuckle:

All joking aside, Great work brother. Thats a dandy bear, Hopefully Ill get mine later this year.

Thank god! Now this thread will end! Reminds me of that clueless guy and his shooting a two point thread  :chuckle:

Congrats on a nice bear!  Everyone that was busting your balls was probably doing it in fun but still, it's got to feel good to prove them wrong. :chuckle:
