I don't eat organs from anything!
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

I almost wouldn't classify heart as a organ.  It's a muscle.  The liver is a filter.  The heart is a pump.

Elk/deer....I will eat (try it at least) heart oR liver when somebody that knows what they are doing cooks it. I've had a small piece of raw deer liver...not bad. Bear organS....no thanks.

According to the updated thread title D-Rock, doesn't always eat organ meat, though it appears some times he treats them like a loli-pop when requested by H20Hunter.   :tung:

Good work on the bear.  Good luck on the elk next.  Keep him out of trouble during elk season D-rock.

Heart prepared properly is very tasty.   If you don't want to take the time on it as I say it goes in the grind real well.

I have pretty much eaten myself sick of liver over the years.  Will only bring it out if I have someone that wants it.
