Nice being able to drive after work. My sons new harness came today in the mail. Were going to hunt out of tree stands this weekend if the weather is decent.

I'm going to get out next week for my first look around. The weather is supposed to get better Monday.

I was supposed to be out yesterday, instead I took my truck to the shop and it's getting a new transmission.
Perfect timing, I guess here comes some more overtime.

We went out for 4hrs today. Weather is pretty crappy. Fogged in in most parts. Tomorrow don't look much better.

Errett has baseball practice at 1:00, so we have to leave the woods noon. If it is'nt raining we will be in tree stands. If raining we'll probably be checking cameras, and scouting/ hunting. I hope we hear a gunshot.

Was out today... mixture of rain, hail then sun. I finally found some fresh peels, about 50 yards off the road in 4 foot deep slash. It took me 20 minutes to make may way through it, I kept thinking I was going to fall through onto a Punji stick. Instead I just fell through. I finally gave up trying to walk on top of it. I can't imagine how a bear walks around on that stuff. I dropped a camera there, hopefully I'll get some pics of the offender.

Went to Yakima for the weekend. I figured I would read about a Monroe bear "down", tonite.
I guess My 12 yr old will have to break the ice this weekend
