I like my danner pronghorns and so does my wife, we both got ours this year so one season on them. But when you live by the danner outlet store in portland and buy one pair for $65 and another pair for $70 you would jump on them too, well at least most would. No leaks this season and more comfy than my worn out leaky Lacrosse boots so Id say not getting my feet soaked during late season was worth my money already. If they do leak I wont feel so bad considering mine were $65 bucks!

I have had several pairs of Danners (I got one free pair every year and heavily discounted additional pairs).  I won't buy them again.  I have the Pronghorns and whatever the upland version of that is too.  Both squeak way too much to be used for archery.  The Pronghorns might as well be filled with water to start with.  The Mountain Light 2 (or something like that) is a good daily boot for the woods (still made in Portland) but wouldn't use it for hunting as they are too noisy as well.  I use a Muck boot or Kenetreks now, very happy.

Danners for me have been about as waterproof as a pair of flip flops.
