My brother drew a Huckleberry Moose tag this year, how lucky can you get? I am heading over that way next week for five days and was looking for any info anyone is willing to pass on.

Look in the clearcuts during prime times both north and south of the Hunters-Springdale Rd along the Huckleberry Range divide. It shouldn't be too tough to find some moose.

Thanks for the help.
Was after Bear a few days ago off hunters springdale road, luther road and saw plenty of Moose sign. They are always running back and forth in there. Boise Cascade and state land.

Just got back from a quick trip. Didn't see any moose but did see quite a bit of sign. It seems it could be tough being on the right land. I found my self thinking I was on logging roads but ended up at someones house. Thanks for the help pointing us in the right direction.

What elevation were you and did you spend much time glassing clearcuts?

Just stay out of their Marijuana patches. They get a little finicky about that.

We were around the 2500 to 3000' elevation range. We spent a little time glassing the clearcuts but most was spent trying to learn the access points throughout the unit.
