Ya, I didn't figure that Mama bear would've put up with it for that long.  I expected to see the cubs feeding on the wolf after he grabbed that cubs tail!

Very cool video.  Long legged *censored*s, where is my tag.  Did you notice how Montana, well at least Idaho had it in print to hunt them before it got pulled.  I loved how that little guy chrged him.  Course Mom was standing behind him.

I would have loved to see momma get a hold of that wolf.  Those little guys sure did a good job of holding their own too.  Like Bone said momma was behind them, but the show the wolf they were not afraid!

Thats the thing..being a hound hunter, I know that momma would never get hold of that wolf! Very, Very rarely anyhow...and I'll be danged if that wolf wasn't dang near as big as her! She might have had her paws full!

Add 1 more wolf..and that situation could have been ugly for the 3 bears... add 2 more wolves and it would have been real ugly (well...momma would have turned tail and boogied surely)

Sweet vid!

The wolf was trying to get the cub to chase him out just a little farther from mom, then it would have been cub for dinner.  I've watched coyotes do the exact thing with dogs.
