Answer can be found on page 15 of the hunting pamplet:

"Anyone hunting in an area
that is open for modern
firearm deer or elk hunting

must meet hunter orange
requirements if they are
hunting any of the following
species: Bear, Bobcat,
Cougar, Coyote, Deer, Elk,
Fox, Grouse, Hare, Rabbit, or
Raccoon."
It is better to be consistently incorrect than inconsistently correct...

I carry two bright hunters orange handkerchief's - when I go into a 'reduced' visibility area I will tie one on my hat or pack or both...

Always a good idea to wear some orange while afield, esp in the trees and high brush IMO?

Just don't wear black, and you should be fine. I don't believe I've ever worn orange except when required by law.

Not sure if "spring" was different

If you don't know about whether you need orange, there are other things you don't know. Please read and re-read the regs so you do.

I have no problem with questions, especially if regulations are unclear and often, they are and I'm the one asking. But not knowing the regs if you're going hunting may indicate a lack of respect for your quarry and can put our sport in a bad light when infractions are made public.

I was just clarifing, obviously its a good thing to wear but not "LEGAL" to do so,
JUST ASKING  :sry:

No problem. Have a good hunt!
