I take my wife and kids to the silverline on Lake Perrygin outside Winthrop each spring.  The kids fish and do really well right off the dock.

x2
We go at least once every year. The owners are great, fishing is great (crawfish are awesome late in summer), sites are great, the town of Winthrop is great!

Good luck!

We like sunlakes resort north of soap lake, fishing, swimming and you can jump off rock cliffs from 10' to 30' at a lake just 5 min drive away. Perch lake is just 5 min up the road also, we just fish from the big rock and do ok. Dry falls lake is just past perch lake and it's fly fishing only. I think it's called perch lake anyway. The resort has a store and swimming pools, mini golf and water ballon game. Also has a golf course.

Just watch out for the coons. Relentless little boogers. Lol

And the mosquito's. Small enough to go through the screen door and big enough to open one also!

Crawfish are great.  Last summer, we loaded up on at least 30 per night.  Sure are tasty.

Curlew State Park was always our favorite spot on our
annual vacation. We would try to hit three spots or so on
a 9 day trip. Leader Lake, Conconully, Wannacut and Curlew
were our regular spots and Curlew was so nice we sold our
rv and bought property near there.

The family and I just took our first trip to sun lakes resort for open fishing season a few weeks ago. I agree its a great place but I also agree it can get really windy. We didn't put our awning on the trailer out all weekend, But other than that its a great area with lots to do.

Shady Pines Resort Conconully Wa, Steve and his wife run a top notch resort.

Keep in mind it is not for rowdy types, smaller quaint type of place. Kids and or grand kids can run and play with no worries.

Have a look for your self.

Shady Pines is a great place, the owners are family friends and they run a great resort. We spend a couple weeks there each year between hunting and camping in the summer. Great fishing from the bank as well, many of the RV spots are right on the shore so you can fish from your camp spot! They also have a Facebook page which has lots of good pictures. Here's a picture of my twin daughters at our camp site a couple years ago.
Old hunters never die, they just stay loaded.

We have been to MarDon twice this year, we love it!!  Just don't like the fishing of the banks.  But everything else at Mardon is super cool!!

I'm jumping on this bandwagon.  My family found a place last year in Idaho that we really like with little kids, which is Hells Gate State park.  You guys talk about good crawdad fishing, this is the place.  We'll be there in August for a week.  I'll try to put some pics up when we get back.

Hi all, wife and I love rv camping and we to are always looking for fun spots. We have two dogs and a Polaris razor (ATV) so those are things we keep in mind when searching out spots. One of our old stand bys in the Last Resort down on the tuccannon river , very close to the blue mnts. Love the quail and doves early in the morning. Over in Idaho Killgore resort outside of whitebird is very nice, salmon river 30 yards. Very pretty and ATV friendly. Dent acres on the dwarshack lake outside pf orifino is very pretty and has boat launches in campground .Montana has  the St. Regis campground  and is one great one also , very close to dozens of alpine lakes and blue ribbon trout streams, ATV friendly also. Just a few full hookups we've done, have lots of gorgeous dry campgrounds in mind if anyone is interested.
