Hey no problem here is the prices as well as some recent info on whats going on with the tri tronics sport line!

DC40s are 197 each, we do also offer a modification for an extra 50.00 that will make them run more like a dc30 as far as GPS connectivity is concerned.

Mod includes: moving the GPS chip to top of collar, collar color of choice, and a new stainless steal tuff skin antenna

Replacement Battery for DC30 39.95

Tri Tronics Sport Basic G3 1 Dog 219.99

Just an FYI the Garmin Delta and Garmin Delta Sport is due out April 18th and will replace the tri tronics Sport line. They will be a great short sort-mid range up to 3 dog system with a vibrate mode as well as the Delta Sport having a built in BarkLimiter!

The Sport Basic will be out for awhile still but the a couple systems in the line have very recently been discontinued. We are having a liquidation sale one those items. They are the Sport Combo which was the step up from the Basic and the Sport Junior. We want them out of our shop take a look if your looking for a good deal!

I had to order some antennas recently and saw those dc 40s moded out to work like the dc 30s on the site. Got me wondering why and what's the benefit to doing that? This year I had a dog loose her signal on the dc40 collar out hunting. Once I retrieved her and let the collar sit it got reconnected. I didn't know if thats been a issue and why people are converting their dc40s? First time ive had a collar loose its satellite signal

the quickest way to explain this is think of your dog swimming a creek, a 40 cant pick up with the gps submerged. same issue can possibly happen with thick underbrush. we put the gps chip on top of the collar so it sits towards the highest point on the dog. this makes it run like a dc30 which are pretty well known for picking up a lot better than the stock 40s. shoot me a call and i can get deeper into it if need be
