Colorado deer. Units 444,22,25,63,76
« on: March 18, 2013, 05:04:54 AM »
I am looking to use my 3pp for a deer tag in Colorado this year. I have narrowed my search down to Unit 22 second season, 25 fourth season, 444 fourth season, 63 third season and 76 third season. If you have hunted any of these areas and would like to share your experience that would be great. I am just looking for info such as the amount of elk hunters that were around and the amount and age class of bucks that were seen. Thanks.

That'll lead you right to them... :chuckle:  You can't draw 25/26 4th with 3 pts.  Need a minimum of 5, now.   I'd throw out 22 2nd, there is a reason those LO tags are cheap.

Of the units listed, I go for a 63 3rd.    :twocents:

Yeah the unit 63 3rd season is what I was leaning towards. It looks to have a lot of public land, and from what I have been able to gather, you can stretch your legs and create a lot of distance between yourself and the roads. Also it looks to have a good success rate.
