Great choice for a rest, I love mine!
As far as strings go, winners choice are WAY overpriced. There are many strings just as good if not better for a cheaper price. I like vapor trail myself, $94 for a set for hybrid cams.
Thanks for the advice man. Im starting to think eventually Im going to upgrade this bow itself actually. So I might as well go with a cheaper one, Then If push comes to shove and I absolutely fall in love with another bow, Ill toss all my accessories on the new one.

Or, you could buy your girlfriend a bow, yup yup ;) I like that option :IBCOOL: jk babe.
You act like I dont talk about it EVERYTIME we go to the sporting good stores :dunno:

You talked about shooting them from inside a popup blind, so i'd practice it just like that... I would practice a sitting and kneeling shot since that is likely what your are going to need to do. Coyote pick up on movement which makes them Hard to shoot with a bow, even from a tree stand.  :twocents:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I never laugh at that kind of thing, not in my DNA.

My last bow before this one was a hand me down.

My first bow (without suction cup arrows)  had wheels and a wooden riser and a glued on flipper for an arrow rest.

I converted that to a fishing bow and had great success with it

It's a hoot

loved watching those white fiberglass fishing arrows poking up out of the water zinging around.

Shot some big carp back when it was legal.

What???

The area I used to shoot is off limits for carp hunting,  Kettle Arm of Lake Roosevelt.

Didn't mean shooting carp was illegal  :chuckle:

You would be very happy with stone mountain strings. Shot them for years.
If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?
