I had my face pressed against the screen watching the time tick away. I just have to much to do this year but really should have put in. I decided not to so good luck to you guys.

Elk and antelope. No deer as moneys tighter so it got too hard to be without it for a 1% chance this year. Put my dad in for everything.

I drew oryx in 06 it was a blast I think your right on the draw date and at least I can get my money back then.

What hunt did you have? the stallion or the rhodes?

We had the stallion range,  we drew four tags in two years talk about dumb luck

That's pretty cool. I really wanted to put in for that hunt and 34 archery elk but was worried I might draw them by some freak chance and have to start canceling other hunts So I will play next year and dream big!

I've been dreaming and trying to draw unit 17 for five years know I'm hoping this is the year.

This is my first year of ever putting in for any out of state hunt, but after years of saying "next year" we finally pulled the trigger:

NM Archery Elk - 1st - Unit 15  - 2nd Unit 16A - 3rd Unit 48. 

I don't expect to draw, but it has been a lot of fun just learning about other options to archery hunt elk!!

I put in for Elk.  First time I've gone for an out of state hunt, let alone draw.  I have a friend down there I'll be going with if I draw, horseback in for 4-5 days!
