private has not stopped the last few elk along the river from getting poached. It wasn't until they started bragging about it that they got caught.

What a nice bull  But I agree about posting big bulls like that on the internet or for that matter telling anyone about where he is or abouit him ...I learned 1st hand about how fast the word gets out about someone seeing a big bull ...The year I killed my 6x7 I was trying to kill a 9x9 and I killed the 6x7 because he beat the 9x9s butt and ran him off So I had to kill him  But within 3 days of me killing my bull I opened my mouth about the 9x9 and someone poached him .....

I think you guys have talked about 3 different bulls from that small area being poached just in this thread. It's not that hard to poach them. If someone is going to poach one, they're sure as heck not going to care about sneaking onto some private property.
