Miss Rodeo Washingtons fur vest
« on: March 21, 2013, 08:09:42 PM »
If you don't know WSTA gives Miss Rodeo Washington a fur garment every year. We used to give a fur garment to Miss Washington but they didn't treat us well so we have been sponsoring Miss Rodeo for about 20 years. Not sure exactly when we started but I do remember the Miss Washington fiasco just not the year.
Any way we presented Miss Jessie Tenant the 2013 Miss Rodeo Washington with a raccoon and fox vest last Saturday and our annual Fur sale. The vest was made by Amanda Platoni of Harts Lake Trading Post in Roy.

Sorry I didn't get a picture of the back. It has a a stripe of coon fur though down the back kind of like what you see on the side.
She had a smile so big you would think she would break her face. She goes to a lot of rodeos and other events and she'll wear that vest. I'm hoping it goes up on their website but not their yet.

Great promotion and glad you found some one willing happy to show it off.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Brady was going to send her some but Amanda didn't like them so WSTA ended up buying them.
