Springfield XD S

I bought the XDS a couple months ago and is a great gun. No issues with a couple hundred rounds through it. Bought a kydex holster from eight2ten.com. Great guy, fast service and extremely tight fit. It is very light and comfortable, would recommend the holster to anyone.

You can get a XD in 357 but I dont think you can get an XDs in 357....yet.

Look for a 3" 1911 leather holster they are very close in size and shape. My 3" ultra carry fits the xds holster all to well

I have a small Galco leather holster for my 3" 1911. I love that holster and it fits my full size 1911 awesome too. I didn't think about seeing if it would fit the XDS. So I tried and it didn't fit  Not even close really. I was hoping it would have. Thats exactly what I'm looking for for the XDS.

What holster do you have?

I carry my XD 40 in a Blackhawk CQC and love the fact it is adjustable and has a very solid and fast retention feature.

Actually they have announced the XDS in 9mm now.  But I have yet to here that one has been sold.

Mine is 45 acp, guess I better hurry up and shoot it. That way if they come out with it in 9mm, I'll know whether or not I want one of those too.

Guess I should clarify the .357. The XD comes in a .357 sig. not .357 mag.

The XDs is a single stack.

The xds is less than an inch in width.. The subcompact as stated is a double stack so it's a little thicker.. My dad jus picked up a 45 xds and loves it
