3) Reply to this message and you must post the link to that page's URL,
(Looks like this http://www.dusupply.com/bear-hunting-gone-wild-dvd.html)
Write a couple of sentences about why YOU would want to win it and, and why all the folks at H W would need something like this.

4) Depending on the Price of the item you are trying to win.

Pick a Number below 999 if your prize value is between 50 and 250 dollars.
Pick a Number below 9999 if you want to win something between $250-$999

Now, We will use the Ohio pick 4 evening numbers on April 30th to select the winners. For example if the Pick 4 numbers are (1234) We will use the digits from the Right to left.

Is the Item I could use this product for the simple fact of how universal it is, It could be used to mark your favorite fishing/hunting locations, Your tree stand, Your current travel, or your grandmothers house... Its always nice to find a way home. Ive always wanted to venture out further and further into the woods (Far away from civilization as possible) But have always been limited to finding my way back out and with the WA map sdcard I would wind up purchasing for it, I would be able to know where I can/cannot hunt, Whos land Im on and how to contact said individuals... I dont have the greatest memory or scence of direction. So this thing could potentially save my life.
All the folks at BGH could use this item because its a very versitile item for anything involved in the outdoors, and last time I checked... Thats what were all on these websites for. To further our search to find bigger game animals, and be successful in the wildnerness..

If Ive done this all correctly, The number I choose is 855

Every person on here could use a good gps at one point or another. They are a great tool to be able to find new hunting ground. They can get you out of a tight spot if you get a little turned around. Also nice for back tracking when you lose something  "I have done this once before" :chuckle: The rhino series is the cream on the crop. My hunting partner has been running one for awhile and it has always been easy to use and spot on. It's also great if your buddies have them so you can see where they are at on your screen!

0328 is my guess.

On a side note they guys at dusupply are a great bunch of people. I had a chance to meet them and there crew at the portland show this year. Top notch guys and know there stuff!!!

I thought about GPS some have already posted those, besides I'm always being told where to go. How could I ever get lost.  :chuckle:

Every one of us needs the weather radio, radio, GPS and map tools on this unit.  It may be a life saver, if not for you but maybe for one one else.  I'm not one for straying miles from camp, but with this I will.  I'll go further every hunt.

My new WHP is quite fond of deer and has ran off twice now while on hikes.  Both times I was worried sick I may have lost her, but she always comes back.  It woudl give me great piece of mind knowing I could find her if it ever happened again.

I believe everyone with a dog could benefit from this item....  We pay to much money to have these companions, why would you not want to keep tabs on them whilel afield.

I just got a new pup 3 weeks ago. I'd love to be able to have this to assist in our training sessions. Definately like that its waterproof. All dog owners could use the BarkLimiter, although I've yet to find out if my girl will be a barker.

Thanks to Double U Hunting Supply for offering an opportunity at some great prizes.

The prize I would like to win is:    http://www.dusupply.com/garmin-rino-655t.html

I would love to have this unit because some of my hunting partners have started switching over to the Rhinos.  The ability to locate each other is so much easier with the Rhinos.  Nothing like being able to go to your buddy and help him out when he's filled his tag and needs some help packing out.  Plus I can take pics with the camera so we can all look back at the memories again.

As for HW members, anyone spending time outdoors in the mountains and brush would benefit from this GPS.  An extra sense of security knowing you can find your way out of the nastiest of territory.

I'm hoping the winning number will be 2439.

Thanks guys. Awesome contest.

I would like to win: http://www.dusupply.com/garmin-alpha-combo.html

I think that this would be a great prize for my German Wirehaired Pointer, Sophie. I have often wondered how many miles the dog put in when I have put in 5 to 10 miles myself. There are also times when the dog has got on a hot scent and I have no idea where she has gone.

I think this would be a great prize for any Hunting-Washington member who owns a hunting dog or dog in general. Keeping track of our buddies while we are out having fun is one of our commitments and the times we have seen members post lost dogs tugs at the heart.

My number is 5960.

Good luck everyone and thanks again DUsupply!

I would like to win this for one of my hunting buddies.
http://www.dusupply.com/garmin-rino-655t.html

I already have the 655T and after owning two other GPSs, this one is the bomb! With a 5W radio, touch screen, NOAA weather radio, partner plotting, 3 gyro compass (you don't need to move for it to point true, 5 MP camera with Geo tag, and storage capabilities up to 16 GB, it's an amazing tool for any hunter. It locks up almost instantly under any cover in any weather.

As stated above this would be a great tool to use in the outdoors. I got the chance to play with a buddies rino a few times and was really impressed with the functionality of the product.  Its also fun to see the sometimes crazy path you have taken throughout the day. lol

Seems like a great tool for hunting with dogs, and making sure they don't get lost.

Stilly bay uses something similar, so if you want to be an "elitist pheasant hunter" I expect this should be considered "must have" equipment.  ;)

I would like to win this prize because it can be a great resource while out hunting and snowmobiling. I like the feature of being able to see partners locations.

HW members could use this for safety and Im sure there are members who use similar products

I have one already but my hunting partner could never afford this with his income and family. We already use FRS rad's for comunication. But he needs a better GPS and while we hunt separate, we like to know were each other are. This could really help in that aspect.

Thanks for a great Contest!!!!

http://www.dusupply.com/garmin-rino-655t.html

More and more people are carrying a GPS receiver when they hike/hunt or track. In addition, many people are getting into geo-caching, a family-friendly activity that utilizes GPS receivers to hunt for treasure in the great outdoors. In a survey concerning trail map usage that was conducted in 2009, 50% of the 660 respondents noted they use a GPS receiver when out hiking, hunting or tracking with their frequency of use ranging from rarely to always.

(Fortunately, over 90% of total respondents noted they carry a trail map at least most of the time. GPS units should not be considered substitutes for map and compass, but supplements to them. Like any electronic technology, they are not wholly reliable: batteries may die, the unit may fail, contact may be lost with satellites.)

With so many different brands offering multiple models with a wide range of features (Garmin, for instance, offers over 40 different GPS receivers for "On the Trail" use), it can certainly seem like an overwhelming task to find the GPS receiver perfect for your use. I think this unit is the best available, and Double U Hunting supply store makes it really easy to pick the right unit for your budget.

Right now I have a game camera missing in action. I have went out twice to check (find) this camera with no luck. I will find it eventually, but this has happened to me a few times now. I have 8 cameras out right now, and sometimes I will move them after checking, and not remember where. I could deffinately use a gps to mark my cameras.    http://www.dusupply.com/garmin-etrex-30.html     #0520

I've used this radio/gps a couple times in British Columbia snowmobiling and they are fantastic.  Loaded with features and performance is top notch.  I think this would be a great addition to anybody's hunting pack.
