Ling-a-ding-ding!
« on: March 23, 2013, 09:27:05 PM »
Great day today on the salt.  Started out questionable, had to wait till got the all clear from Coasties, then was a bit lumpy on way out, went flat and clam to kicking it up early afternoon, so headed in for another lumpy ride.  Excellent trip!   We had many fish to the boat, but kept trying for the biggers one of course...  Robodad connected on this pig 29lbs after bled and in the box for four hrs...

We lost probably two to three more close to this size, just didn't stay on the hook up.....  Aren't they pretty waiting for nick the knife to make them into one of the best eating fish around.....  Yummy...

I really need to get out there!

What sort of tackle are you using? I need to buy new gear and I'm trying to figure out what I need. I've been told that both bait and jigs are working well.
