Multi-season/Special draw tags, how does it work?

Heres a thought if you haven't already done it, read the hunting regulations front to back. A lot of what is discussed on here will be revealed. I do this every year when the new ones hit the street, it's our responsibility as hunters to do so.

Plus it keeps one from being caught with their britches down in the field doing the wrong thing, and not knowing it! 

Ive tried to do that, even with fishing...and fish every year. Its hard for me to retain information led alone keep up with all the new changes. It is def a responsibility as a hunter no doubt, but if you cant retain what you read then you cant. Thats why i usually just shoot right to my questions of interest and throw them on here. I cant ask the book questions. They say its the best way to learn and it works for me. Just sayin.

Even if this stuff is easy to look up, it's not a big deal to bring it to everyone's attention for a refresher.

i just told you. If theres something i want to know i ak "hunting-washington" i didnt say i dont retain i said i have a hard time. Its like reading latin. I a 1 - c area 443 unit 4

You just keep showin up with the questions, and we will help with the cipherin..............

When the regs come out, get a stack of them and put one where you sit for TV, one by the toilet, one in the rig.....you get the picture......read'em, and read'em some more......2012s are beside me this moment.

Dont worry Im not special or nothing. No offense to anyone that may have a handicapped child/family member or any special needs themselves. Just clairifying. I just literally have a hard time reading some stuff. Regulations being one of them. Its like trying to remember the dictionary it seems.

A couple things for you to think about. You are limited to hunting with archery gear but you are not limited to hunting archery season.

If it were me I would get a multi season permit and apply for the better late hunts, not just limited to the archery season late hunts.

This way you can hunt all three seasons with your bow, or be able to hunt with someone willing to get you the deferral, you will just need to get yourself a orange vest.

If you don't get a multi season permit then you can still get the same tag as the person with the deferral, you just use your archery gear instead of a rifle/muzzy if that is the season they are hunting.

Mossy being that your a felon how can you take hunters ed? Yoyo have to handle and shoot a firearm in class don't you?

let the class instructor know and they will work with with you.  You can handle a bow for the class.

No need to hope. It's policy. If an instructor incorrectly requires firearm handling or shooting, I would suggest contacting WDFW in Olympia.
