That's a nice group.  I only see a couple at a time.

I saw a group of 8 east of Hwy 97 north of Satus Pass 9/21.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Dumped like poached and dumped? Road kill?
Buck or doe?

Not sure the sex, it was head down in the ice, but definitely dumped in that spot a ways off the road and behind a fence, just like all the elk, deer, horses, and cows I find. Why do you ask?

A good friend is closely involved with the pronghorn project. I pass as much info onto him as I can get. Thanks.

Yes, SCI have offered rewards to anyone whom can get us a conviction on any antelope that are poached. The last thing we need are individual poaching them. When we did the counts last winter we did find one that had been hit by a car and also knew that one had been poached by Kennewick.

I really wish they could do another transplant soon.

More than likely the next transplant will occur on the Colville Nation Lands. Thank them and the Yakama's for their work on this. Hopefully the Spokane's will also jump on board.
