When you enter WDFW lands after hours or during a closed time of the year you are almost always charged for:

RCW 77.15.230 WAC 232-13-050.3

The above RCW states "(1) A person is guilty of unlawful use of department lands or facilities if the person enters upon, uses, or remains upon department-owned or department-controlled lands or facilities in violation of any rule of the department."

The WAC states it is illegal to violate a posted sign on WDFW lands, such as a no access sign or a sign saying open during daylight hours only.

It is essentially WDFW lands form of trespass.

if its just a trespass violation why do gamies act like its murder ?? i hear/witness stories every year of gamies gone csi doing their best to prove everyone up there is making tracks on the mudflow.. idk if they just know they can maybe catch people  (they dont catch that many) or what but i see more gamies on 504 this time of year than any other..i feel like it would be easier to poach a big bull than it would be to snag alil ol shed  :dunno:

idk i guess i just cant get over the idea that tax $ is being spent more to protect dead bone than it is the elk themselves...yes i know its for the "health of the starving wintering elk" but..they dont care about all the other elk a few hundred yards north or south ?? a mile or two west ?? what about those elk ?? hmmmm wait they dont make tourist dollars off those elk so who cares right ?? ohh wait..these are the same elk they are going to let wolves one day eat ?? mhmmm...that makes sense

if they really want to protect the elk make that boundry alot bigger...so people wont even be tempted to go onto the flow

sorry..had to get that off my chest
